LighteningSoft was originally setup in early 2000. To start with website design and hosting was the main source of business.
Other projects were undertaken in regards to ease of office running. These include the Invoice and Purchase Order Systems.
In 2001 it was decided to expand the skills in the company to also include offering services to other companies. These include Computer Network design and installation, as well as service contracts.

In early 2002 LighteningSoft started development on a SkiSlope Lesson Manager system. This has now become the main product produced by LighteningSoft and most of the resources are put into improving this product.

In 2003 and early 2004 LighteningSoft joined many partner programs. This has enabled us to provide a higher level of service to all our clients.

At the end of 2004 LighteningSoft moved into Music Production. With an ever expanding skill set available within LighteningSoft, Music production has become a service we can provide. This is an end to end service with music recording to website construction and general promotion.

In the second quarter of 2005 LighteningSoft opened it's online shop. Computer hardware and software products available to all.
